Could UK’s Fuck Buttons be 2008’s answer to Battles? A band that I would never figure to like but I just do damnit! Blurring the line between noise and melody, the duo’s Street Horrrsing LP is droney, hypnotic and utterly beautiful. The album is out March 18th on ATP Recordings.

I like the noise but one of the things that makes Battles special is there use of live drums. This felt a little too “House” for me…and I don’t mean the medical drama show.
