Though, I did say that I included albums from Nov/Dec of ‘06 because they never get a fair shake in “best of” lists for that year. Hence, the Hold Steady.

The Hold Steady album came out in October of 2006 smart guy.

“Ugh…I can’t even imagine if Dntel was on my list. What a boring turd that was.”

    Hehe.

well, it’s on Mojo’s top 10 list. i just saw that.

i used to like listening to dntel while driving around LA. it gave the city a super real depressing perspective. much like your blog does for the internet.

chuck daley, no doubt. if it’s not pop-punk, it’s not cool.

the only thing right about that list is the national and spoon

sunset rubdown and radiohead aren’t overrated

the hold steady are very much overrated! get some balls and put andrew bird up there like now!

that’s not very fair. either of you. there is lots right about my list. and i’ll fit to the death anyone who thinks that radiohead and SR are not overrated. i love both bands and these albums are like slaps in my face. but, go ahead and sit around the arcade fire and praise “originality”…

so happy to see The Good Life in your list!
I totally agree with this post, saying Help Wanted Nights is the best 2007 album. Too bad most lists couldn’t see it.
