El Ten Eleven…

Band You Should Know

I recently had the pleasure of hearing the self-titled debut album by the band El Ten Eleven. This is a fantastic record that was originally released in 2004 then re-released in 2005 via Bar/None Records. The group is an instrumental duo from LA that has been compared to the likes of Tortoise, Sigur Ros, Trans Am, Japancakes and The Mercury Program. Truly outstanding stuff!

Listen: El Ten Eleven - Lorge (mp3)

(There are some other tracks on their myspace page as well as an incredible new song!)

Hello, I’ve been lurking a bit since I first landed here (forget how) and have been carefully picking your musical mind. You have some terrific content here, brilliantly written and of great taste. You will make me a very poor man, but thank you nonetheless.
